Compact Halogen Light Source
Specially designed for industrial, R&D and educational applications, it offers 4 times more light output than competitive fiber optic halogen light sources focused directly into optical fibers, through the use of a combined reflector and lens optical collection system. It includes an integrated cooling fan which allows for a higher light output than the competition while at the same time extends the life of the bulb, and makes the unit easy and safe to work with. This makes it convenient for desktop and laboratory use or in applications where high temperature may be a concern.

Compact Deuterium Halogen Light Source
This deuterium halogen light source Deuterium Halogen Light Source offers a wide spectral range of 200 to 1100nm which makes it suitable for the UV, Visible and IR regions. It boasts separately controlled Deuterium and Halogen sources that can be operated either individually or as a combined source, using external switches or TTL signals. It also includes a mechanical shutter that can be controlled with either an external switch or TTL signal.

Broadband Superluminescent LEDs
|
 |
A SLED is an edge-emitting light source. One of the exceptional qualities of the SLED is its high output power and low beam divergence, similar to a laser diode, but with a broad emission spectrum and low coherence, similar to a LED. SLEDs are similar in geometry to lasers but have no built-in optical feedback mechanism required by laser diodes.
SLEDs have a much higher gain, higher current density and stronger non-uniformity of photons and carrier density distribution inside the active region. SLEDs are essentially highly optimized LEDs. While SLEDs operate like LEDs at low current levels, their output power increases superlinearly at high currents.
Applications include optic components testing, fiber sensor systems, fiber optic gyroscopes, optical computed tomography (OCT), biomedical imaging devices.
