Pioneer Series PLD System
Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) is the smart approach to complex materials deposition. It deposits across a much larger dynamic pressure range than Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Reactive Co-Evaporation (RCE), sputtering or traditional Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). It requires less process development time than CVD, unlike PVD it does not depend on differences in vapor pressure and, particularly for oxide films, delivers a much higher deposition rate than sputtering. Relative to the other techniques it has a low cost of ownership.
We have a range of specialized complete systems that cover all deposition applications of interest. In addition, it provides a range of useful options or diagnostic tools, like Reflection High Energy Electron Diffraction (RHEED), Ion Beam Assisted Deposition (IBAD), substrate load-lock, target load-lock, Pulsed Electron Source (PES), plume particle filter and others.
